This post was inspired by the August edition of InStyle. I am loving this pastel pink with a hint of nude.  This color is moving right along with us into Fall, thankfully! This two piece dress from Lulu's is perfect for an end of the season wedding outfit or a fun date night ensemble! I accessorized with my favorite rose gold jewels.  I can't get enough of this ShinyMix "Swing Dance" necklace. It's so simple and chic. I accented the face of my MK watch with this adorable Kate Spade cross body. Color coordinating this outfit was too fun!

I don't know about you guys but the weather has been up & down with it's temperatures lately, meaning everyday starts out with me using my weather channel app. This outfit I put together for a casual lunch date with my gals.  There are so many little details in this one, that I just love! I am really into the distressed denim trend that has thankfully made a come back, once again! These boyfriend boot cut 1921 jeans are seriously the softest pair of pants I own! Another great thing about these 1921 jeans is that they are forever long so the height of your heels is super flexible (tall people problems). I love the pattern on the these gorgeous heels from JustFab, and the color is so versatile. I thought this floral blouse from New York & Company (who is by the way having a sale today on rompers & dresses) was a great femine twist to this outfit. I love that this top can be dressed up or dressed down and the colors are amazing! I gave my outfit some sparkle by pairing a Forever21, arrow necklace, Stella & Dot, paved rhinestone cuff and my new obsession from ShinyMix, arrow earrings which by the way are in their under $30.00 selection...you're welcome!   Lastly, I pulled the maroon in my shirt out with this cross body from Michael Kors. 

 

Hopefully this weather stays warm now and I'll just be wearing distressed denim shorts! My allergies are killing hence the gap in my posts but I'm finally feeling better! I have a wedding coming up in two weeks so stay tuned for some must-haves in your bags and a peek at what I am wearing!

Leather Leggings Series- 2

Hey ya'll so if you missed my first "Leather Leggings Series" here is a quick recap...

We all have those fabulous pieces we love endlessly in our closet. Well, leather leggings are one of those pieces for me.  So, I am featuring on the blog a couple different ways I like to wear them. 

 In my previous post I showed two casual styles. In this post I will be featuring a fun and sexy way I wore my leather leggings.  I actually wore this outfit for Valentine's Day and lets just say my valentine couldn't stop staring. Which is quite the compliment because we have been dating for five years! Needless to say I thought this look needed to be shared. 

For this look I went with soft curls, a nude lip and nude pumps for a softer, sultry look.  I then accessorized with some beautiful rose gold for my jewels. Another way, I have styled this outfit was with a high top knot bun and a bold red lip paired with red pumps to add a pop of color. I love everything about different textures and loved this combo of leather and fur.   

During the transition of shoots I forgot my heels in the car, but that just meant I had to get a little creative.  The first photo is the give away of what I was actually wearing when my feet are not showing.  But I took it a little further and I even went bare foot.  I actually ended up loving the contrast of bare feet with this high-end theme.  Just goes to show one piece can be wore, and styled in various ways-it's all about finding your style!
