One of my favorite things about fall is the opportunity to layer. An easy fall staple for layering is a vest. This olive green vest could also easily be paired with a pair of jeans, leggings, stripes and patterns, long sleeves, short  sleeves, skirts...and the list goes on. I loved it paired with this lace up black dress, it was just warm enough and it created a perfect amount of texture to my outfit. What are some of your favorite versatile fall pieces?

Cozy Chic

Baby it's cold outside!!! Winter has arrived and that means time to bundle up! I love these Forever 21 knits together, they look so cozy.  I was really impressed with Forever 21's knits this season and still anticipate buying more. I went for a complete neutral look here. This outfit has so many textures going on...the different knits, the distressed denim, the leather bag and the suede booties and it all is pulled together by the various neutral tones. It's classic yet trendy and works for any casual occasion. 

I can't tell you the last time I bought American Eagle jeans but let me just say I was not disappointed! I was on the hunt for some distressed denim jeans but was not looking to break the bank, well American Eagle delivered. I was so happy with the fit and look of their various styles, I ended up buying two pairs. 

As for the Urban Expressions bag and Dolce Vita booties, they were both Marshall's #fabfounds!
